Thursday update

Work Work Work - Monday was back to work day for me, then Tuesday, Wed......  No fun taking pictures just to and from work.  I dropped Olivia off at EWR at 6:30 this morning...   Zzzzzzz

LIz is at a bead show tomorrow and Saturday - I start on the cleanup of the Oshkosh MUD on Saturday.

On Sunday Liz and I also went to the Museum of Science and Industry http://www.msichicago.org they had lots of cool exhibits.  One was this train layout.  Liz took 9 pictures, which I used to create this mosaic.

Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio

Hi All,

Sunday we rented a car and visited two of the several homes Frank Lloyd Wright designed in the Chicago area.  He was born just north of Chicago in Wisconsin.  He was a very interesting person.

Next was the Robie house – it looked like it was built 10 years ago – but it’s a hundred years ago – very cool!!

Dinner at Cite, a top Lake Point Tower.  70 stories up right next to the Navy Pier.  The view was spectacular, and so was the food!!

It off to see the work of Frank Lloyd Wright here in Chicago.

Hi All,

We arrived in Chicago yesterday afternoon.  Today we did a little sightseeing, we walked up Michigan Ave stoping at the Apple store.  Jumped into a cab to the Shedd Aquarium.  We got there, but did not go inside - the line was 90 minutes long.  We walked around the outside of it to see this view!! 

Dinner tonight at the top of some big building. :-)
